John Oeser

     Born and bred on The Jersey Shore, Johnny O was discovered singing in the kitchen of a fried chicken joint. From high school dances to show bands, from Miami Beach ’s famous Fontainebleau Hotel  (with Wayne Cochran & The CC Riders) to the famed stage at the Stone Pony, this soul singer has always cut a unique and exciting sound. Johnny O was a part of ‘The Sounds of Asbury Park’ in its heyday performing at The Stone Pony with house bands Cahoots with Bocci and Cold Blast & Steel.
